Summer Music in the Park
Take a seat in the park near the famous “Yorkville Rock” and enjoy the sounds of talented local musicians playing a variety of musical styles, from Jazz to Latin to Celtic. Kick back with a coffee or gelato and relax after a stroll around Yorkville.

163rd Queen’s Plate
Enjoy some elegant equine excitement at the 163rd running of the Queen’s Plate, The Queen’s Plate is Canada’s oldest Thoroughbred horse race, having been founded in 1860. Offering some thrilling horse races (with a $1,000,000 purse!), fine dining and entertainment. The tradition is to enjoy fun and fancy garden party attire. Over the years numerous Royals have attended the festivities. So, put on your biggest hat for a day at the races.

Summerlicious Toronto
This favourite food festival is back in full-swing with so many ways to experience and savour some of the city’s finest cuisine. Explore three-course prix fixe menus at more than 200 restaurants. Some of Toronto’s favourite places are involved, and nearly half of the restaurants participating are newcomers to the festival!

Toronto Chinatown Festival
Celebrate Toronto’s vibrant Chinese culture, food and entertainment. This neighbourhood-wide event offers street eats, family activities and performances including Lion Dances and more. The theme this year is the “Eight Immortals” based on traditional Chinese mythology.

Union Summer
This celebration of Summer in the City takes place right in front of one of the Toronto’s most iconic landmarks, every day, all summer. There’s so much to enjoy: music from local and international artists, game nights, movie screenings, and the “TrulyTO” pop-up bar. The line-up food vendors includes Gus Tacos, Mikey’s Smashburgers, NaanSense by Butter Chicken Roti, and Souvla by Mamakas.

Smorgasburg Toronto
One of the world’s greatest food and drink markets, popular in Brooklyn, Miami and L.A., has arrived in Toronto this summer. The extraordinary selection of multicultural food vendors will take you on a sensational culinary tour. While you’re there, take a stroll over to Sugar Beach and the Water’s Edge Promenade.
