The big story in September was the continuing lack of supply in the housing market.
The month saw the third highest sales number on record, yet sales were down 18% from September 2020, mainly due to the lower number of new listings, which dropped by a whopping 34% year-over-year to 13,483. Continued growth in the condo market played a role in the higher share of listings sold.
