In the past two months, the major rebound we saw leading up to the March 2021 peak has been cooling. Still, the market remains quite strong and demand will likely continue to increase as we open up more, and typical immigration rates resume. Year-over-year sales growth continues to outpace new listings growth. TRREB is revising the forecasted average selling price upward to $1,070,000 through 2021.
It seems likely that conditions will remain steady through summer, as people take advantage of some much-needed leisure time, then gain more momentum by September.
